Hi,
My name is Lesley M Allen and I am the main editor for Ervie Kirkcolm Church Web Site.
I was born in Scotland but brought up in Yorkshire, I have been back in Scotland 28 years but still have the Yorkshire Accent, I have two sons and have been widowed 17 years.
I wear a few hats, Elder,Church Officer, Prayer Secrtery, Presbytery Elder, and ElderTraining Co-ordinator on the Oversight Committee for Presbytery.
At the moment I'm also a member of the Assembly Arrangement and Commission of Assembly.
And to bring myself down to earth I work part time in a cafe at our local Garden Centre.

Hi. I have been an elder of this Church for 39 years and Church Treasurer for over40 years I am searching for a small booklet published in the 1800s about the Disruption in 1843 in Kirkcolm Parish Church and the formation of Ervie Free Church, author thought to be Moore or Dalrymple any comments or help would be apprciated

Hi, I'm trying to reach Jennifer and Graham Comery of Stranraer. They're friends of my mother-in-law who passed away this year. We weren't able to contact the Comery family as there was no address for them in her address book.. Sandra Comery sent a Christmas card to Doris but didn't give a return address, so I Googled until I found Jennifer and Graham mentioned on this site and gathered that they're members of your church. I'd be very grateful if anyone seeing this would let them know we're trying to reach them. I wish every one at Ervie Kirkcolm Church a happy, blessed Christmas from Canada!
